Market Data Sources & Update Frequency

Primary Data Provider

Spot prices, Option Chain data (PCR, OI), and historical candles are sourced from Angel One via their official API. We do not scrape or redistribute data from NSE/BSE without permission.

Update Frequency

• Ticker: Updated every 5 minutes during market hours (9:15 AM - 3:30 PM IST).
• Market Analysis: Generated every 20 minutes during market hours. However, the free tier sees a 12-hour delayed version.
• News: Fetched from public RSS feeds (Moneycontrol, LiveMint) every hour.

Handling Outages & Stale Data

If the Angel One API is down or returns a `0.00` value, we do not update the cache. Instead, we continue to serve the last known valid price. Every page displays an IST timestamp so you know exactly how fresh the data is.
